Bye bye kindergarten!

Daisy all ready to go watch Taryn graduate!

Taryn graduated from Kindergarten last night.

The ceremony was awesome! It was a "Country Commencement" technically.....

Taryn was John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt in one of their skits. He had two speaking parts and did AMAZING! He impressed us all!

They sang a bunch of songs and did some moves and got their diplomas. It really was super cute.

Taryn saying his part.

We will miss Mrs. Scroggins. She's such a good teacher and has really helped to challenge Taryn when need be. Taryn REALLY likes her, too. I hope his 1st grade teacher is just as cool as her! (Oh and her room is allll decorated in zebra print! Can't get much cooler than that!)

We are SO proud of Taryn. He's such a smart kid and is doing better than could ever be expected of him......Way to go Taryn man!!! Our big, bad FIRST GRADER!!!

Poor Joplin, MO.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelookout/20110523/us_yblog_thelookout/terrifying-videos-of-missouri-twister-aftermath

The weather has been wicked lately.

I feel SO bad for these people :(

Last night we got hit pretty hard. I thought for sure the hail would break the windows, but it didn't. Thank God. The wind and clouds are enough to scare the piss outta anyone!!!

"It's my birthday, and I'll cry if I want to......"

Boys outside playing.

Kylee and Daisy playing with blocks.

Daisy's cake.

Her stuff.

Those eyes.

Adalee and Daisy.

Daddy and Daisy.

We had Daisy's birthday party yesterday. There was no crying from her though. She had a blast!

We chose a Minnie Mouse theme. Pretty fitting huh? (Daisy and Minnie, haha)

Anyways, half the people we invited didn't show up, but that's ok! We still had a good time, got some cute pictures, and ate cake!

When it was time for Daisy to blow out her candle, she decided she'd stick her finger on it instead. So, I blew it out real fast and covered it with my hand. Taryn got scared! He thought she was going to burn herself. Such a sweet boy.

Peyton slept through most of the party. He was SO tired! I woke him up in time to do cake and presents though.

The boys and Garrett played outside in the mud and Daisy, Adalee, and Kylee played inside. They're such pretty little girls!

Daisy loves her birthday cards, probably more than her presents! She's funny. Taryn read the cards for her :)

I think she really enjoyed playing with everyone. She isn't really a people person, but she did great yesterday. She wasn't shy at all.

I just loved her little outfit. I've had it since I was pregnant with her and was SUPER happy that she got to wear it for her birthday!

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it and celebrate with us!

Happy 1st Birthday, Daisy Jayde!

Mommy and Daddy and your brothers love you very much!

You're ONE today! I can't believe it. This year has sped passed me....I remember so specifically your first day in this world. And here you are, 1 year old. You're full of life, SO funny, you are a loveable, sweet, wacky little girl!

You still nurse a lot.
You sleep with mommy and daddy.
You wear size 4 diapers, size 18 months clothes.
You LOVE your bath more than anything, you cry when I take you out.
You are RUNNING everywhere.
You love to play outside and be in the sun.
You are not scared of anything!
You laugh and laugh at your brother's silly ways.
You give the best smooches.
You can "blow" out (imaginary) candles.
You give high fives to Daddy.
You can't be left alone in the stroller or you'll tip it right over!
You only use a binky in the car (and not very often).
Your hair is turning red and is so curly in the back. It's thick and getting long.
Your eyes are still so blue.
You say SO many words. Baba, dink, pup pup, bubba, mama, dada, daddy, tait to, bot (bite), ju ju (juice), and some other things.....

You have made me SO proud to be your mommy. You are such a good baby girl and I love you more than you'll ever know!

Happy Mother's Day!

What does being a mother mean to me?

Being a mother means a lot to me. It is THE hardest job I've ever had and will ever have. It's the most REWARDING thing I have ever done. It scares the crap out of me. It's tiring, frustrating, confusing, exciting, gratifying, and FUN.

I love being a mom. I may not be the best mom. I may not be raising my kids the way everyone wants me to be. I may be screwing up royally, but I'm doing what I was meant to do.

I was meant to be a mama. My kids COMPLETE me. Without them....I don't know what I would be doing or where I'd be or what kind of person I would have become.

I love my kids SO much. More than words could ever describe. More than ANYONE will ever know or understand. More than I will ever be able to comprehend. They are AMAZING.

Again, I'm not perfect, I don't try to be. I don't try to raise my kids to anyone else's standards. I do my best, I do what I believe is right for them, for us. I learn as I go, and I think they're ok with that.

Taryn was born on September 6th, 2004. Labor day! My water broke at 6:05am and I delivered him at 6:05pm. It was a ROUGH labor. I mean, seriously, rough. He was sunnyside up and big! 9lbs 8oz and 22.5in long. Well worth the pain, though! He came out with brown hair and bright blue eyes. He's a tough cookie and hard headed, but he will love anyone, know matter what. He's an old soul...my Bubba.

Peyton was born on June 26th, 2007. I was induced with him because the dr. thought he would be as big or bigger than Taryn. I had him three days before my due date. My labor with him taught me a lot about myself and my ability to do whatever I set my mind too. He came before the dr. did! He was delivered by the nurses and came out shoulders first. He was 8lbs 3oz and 20.5in long. He had red hair and blue eyes! He's a stubborn little shit, but will give you a kiss and hug 9,000 times a day. He is strong willed and the most loveable, generous child you could meet.....My Boogie.

Daisy was born on May 19th, 2010. I was induced with her also. I don't know if it was on her due date or a week before, it depends on who you ask! My labor with her tested my limits, but I made it through with a beautiful baby GIRL. She was my smallest baby, 6lbs 7oz and 19in long. She came out with blonde hair and blue eyes and peed all over the place! She's a HILARIOUS, full of personality, super sweet girl. She's a lover and a rough and tumble little red head now! My princess....DD.

All the laughs, kisses, tight little hugs and squeezes, all the tears, smiles and bright, proud faces make every bit of this motherhood journey worth it to me.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom. I'll love you forever and THANK YOU for making me, ME.

Fun in the sun

Tball

Peyton is playing Tball this year. His team doesn't have a name yet, but I think they are leaning toward the Littlebacks. His coach is Misty Gregory, she seems nice enough.

He had fun. He was eager to play and actually listened to everyone.

At one point, he yelled really loud "Wait!! What is this?!" There was a caterpillar on the base. Three or four other kids ran over there to check it out. Stop the game to see a bug, way to go Peyton! :) It was TOO funny!

Daisy and Daddy hung out and walked around the ball park.

His next practice is on Friday!
